William Wagner has more than 20 years of leadership experience in marketing, sales and operations in the technology sector. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Wagner is responsible for the company's day-to-day global operations in sales, service and marketing, with a primary focus on executing the company's growth strategy in the United States, Europe and China.
Wagner joined Vocus as Chief Marketing Officer in 2006. Prior to joining Vocus, he was Chief Marketing Officer at Fiberlink Communications, a software company based in Philadelphia, PA. While there, the company tripled revenues and was named as a leader in Gartner's prestigious Magic Quadrant for four consecutive years.
Earlier in his career, Wagner spent more than 10 years in sales and marketing leadership positions at AT&T.
Wagner earned his Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College and his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. He has acted as an advisor to several technology companies and currently serves on the Lafayette College Board of Director's Leadership Council. In addition, Wagner serves on the Board of Directors of privately-held M5 Networks in New York City and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
